The V English Convention: “English for the Future: Technology, Diversity, and Human Connection” is an international academic conference organized by the State University of Milagro (UNEMI), through the Faculty of Research and the Degree Program in Pedagogy of National and Foreign Languages.

This event emerges as a high-level academic space focused on scientific dissemination, educational innovation, and the exchange of research experiences in the field of Teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL). The convention brings together national and international teachers, researchers, specialists, and students who are committed to the current and future challenges of language education in a globalized world.

The V English Convention promotes analysis and reflection on the use of emerging technologies, artificial intelligence applied to education, diversity, equity, and inclusion, emotional intelligence in digital environments, and the strengthening of human connection in teaching–learning processes.

Through keynote speeches, academic presentations, workshops, and dialogue spaces, the convention aims to strengthen scientific production, foster academic collaboration networks, and consolidate UNEMI’s role as an institution committed to academic excellence, research, and international engagement.
